What is Reiki?

Reiki is the art and science of healing the body, mind and spirit.

Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is Japanese for "Universal Life Force" and it is this energy that emanates from the hands of Nicole. It is a simple method of natural healing utilizing life force energy. Reiki supports the body's natural ability to heal itself.

Our bodies are surrounded by an electromagnetic field called an aura. We have seven major chakras, or energy centers:

Crown (violet with white and silver) located at the top of the head.

Third Eye (deep sapphire) located center and slightly above brow.

Throat (pale blue)located at the base of the throat.

Heart (green or pink) located middle of chest.

Solar Plexus ( yellow) located between navel and chest.

Sacral (orange)located just under navel.

Root ( red) located at the base of the spine.

Energy flows through our aura to our chakras and through our bodies through pathways called meridians.
To be in good health, BODY, MIND and SPIRIT must be in total harmony and balance. This energy flows in us without blockages, we stay healthy. If there is a restriction of energy or an imbalance, we become unhealthy or disease occurs.

Reiki works by giving energy to the body to clear away blockages, thus restoring well-being.

A Reiki treatment is a wonderful way of achieving deep relaxation and quietness of the mind.

Each treatment lasts approximately one hour. Nicole rests her hands gently on the body without any manipulation. because the treatment is non-invasive and non-manipulative, it is safe for anyone, regardless of state of health or physical condition.

During a Reiki treatment you may feel:

*Warmth
*Tingling
*Deep Relaxation
*Relief from Stress
*A General Feeling of Well-Being

Results from a Reiki treatment range from a totally relaxing experience, to a feeling of being energized to a healing of mental, physical and emotional issues.

To receive the maximum benefit, it is recommended to have three consecutive Reiki treatments.
